Description   This unique set of transparent mahjong will make a perfect gift. The beautiful tiles can be used as a decorative item. For players, this set presents a new gameplay challenge to their favourite game of mahjong. Purchase a complete 100% transparent set, or to increase playability, customize your set by choosing a 75%, 50% or 25% transparency. These customized sets will also include non-transparent standard tiles Playing with both transparent and non-transparent tiles at the same time changes the way the game is played and actually forces you to think strategically. Tiles are 34x25x19mm in size and is made of acrylic, 144 tiles in total. Opaque tiles are white. The full set comes with a deluxe aluminium mahjong case with clear top.       By combining transparent mahjong tiles and opaque tiles, you can create new ways to play mahjong, but most importantly add entertainment value by having more fun while playing. Playing with transparent mahjong tiles presents a new challenge due to the ability to see some of your opponents' tiles and those that remain on the wall. How many of the tiles you are able to see depend on the level of transparency that you purchase. See below for examples of a 75%, 50% and 25% transparent mahjong set. Why is the game more fun playing with transparent mahjong tiles? Here are several gameplay elements that are only possible with transparent mahjong tiles. 1. Legendary vision:You can see some of your opponents' tiles, thus allowing you to guess what they may need. This dramatically changes how you play your hand and what tiles you will discard. 2. See the future:You can see the upcoming tiles remaining on the walls, allowing you to fully anticipate what your next tile will be. Knowing what tiles are still available on the wall is also a winning strategy. 3. Choices:Here you can select to "Chow" the discarded tile or decide to pickup the next tile. Since the next tile is transparent, you can decide whether you will be better off taking the discarded tile or picking up the next tile. If you are able to see the next two tiles, you will also know what your opponent will pick up, thus changing your decision to "Chow" or not. 4. Unkindness:Since the next tile that you will pickup is transparent, you know what it will be. The above photo shows you will be picking up a bad flower, thus reducing your point total. Here you can deliberately "Pong" or "Chow" the discarded tile just so that your opponent will pick up the bad flower. To add entertainment, tell everybody you did that on purpose. 5. Change of heart:In this hand, you require the "7 of Characters" to win. However three of them have already been discarded, leaving you with only one chance remaining. With transparent mahjong, you see that the last "7 of Characters" is way at the end. With this knowledge you will most definitely try to change your hand to another winning combination knowing that it will take forever to reach the end. 6. Deception:Force your opponents to keep tiles they that may not need just because it appears that you need them even though you don't.
